Have you seen any Pistol socks?

    What walmart?

Ellicott City WM has Allen rifle socks, not pistol. I ordered a few pistol socks from Amazon for around 5/each with free shipping a few months ago.

Try Dick's in Hunt Valley, since your in Timonium, they may have them.

If you want thin, amazon sells the Allen rifle socks for something like $9/3pk. IMO, skip all that thin stuff and order bore-stores (www.borestores.com). Super nice and much thicker than even a fleece coat. They go on sale once in a while. I just had them make two custom larger sizes yesterday (12x46 for only $21ea.) Time from order payment to ship notice was only a couple hours. GREAT service. Have pistol sizes too.

Both Severn and Glen Burnie have Allen Silicone 52" socks for $4.99. That's cheaper than most places sell them in bulk. So, cheap, in fact, that all my long guns in my safe have them protects somewhat from those small safe dings).

I bought a bunch of pistol socks from Gander last year during hunting season (I hunt near Salisbury). They were just $2 ea. I saw them again when I was camping at Ft Whaley this summer...same price. I don't know if that's an 'all the time' price. I did buy a multi-pack from midway as well. Don't like them as much because they're just a bit shorter and much thinner.
