I recently purchased a zastava m92 and like everyone else, I would like to make an sbr out of it. I know that it will need to be at least 29". Can I use the spikes dynacomp brake and a folding stock? Will the spikes brake need to be welded permanently?

I will be making the same SBR in the same configuration. Yes, I will pin and weld the muzzle break. That is the only way it counts towards the overall length.

Which folding stock are you using?

I used a manticore folding stock, stormwerkz hinge and 6 degree shim and perm attached spikes dynacomp on my m92 sbr. Without the comp it would have been 28.25". With it attached it is 30.75" with a 12.5" barrel.

What's the OAL of just the manticore folding stock, stormwerkz hinge and 6 degree shim?

Another option that you could use and NOT have to permanently attach your muzzle device is to use the 8.5" ACE stock with 1" butt pad, a stormwerkz hinge and a six degree shim. That way should be right at 29"
