sold my slug gun a few weeks back, and since then I've been strictly out with my crossbow. Ms deer on my buddies property showed up with an infection in its gums, and dnr recommended taking it before it started suffering. So I set up and sure enough she comes walking in. Shot went a little high with her quartering a bit towards me. But being high was just a slight miscalculation on range. She went down less than 25 yards from where she stood.
The rage broadhead did one hell of a job opening her up. Really happy with how it performed. The photo shows the exit wound.
