Wondering if there is any word on the Mayberry Carbine Match? This is one of the best matches of the year and must be getting close, but I have seen nothing on it?

I'm a member there and help run these matches and I haven't heard anything
'bout it either. You may wanna' PM SteveinMD (not sure of the capital letters in his callsign) as he or Duke308 puts this match together and usually it is held late January or early February.

Not cold enough, only hold it when it's in the 20's...LOL

    ....and/or a foot'a' snow on the ground.:lol2:

Yeah, when I ran the pistol portion (side match) of that match a few years ago, I was skeeered that a shooter was gonna' go down running across the course as it became "Slicker Than Snot" as the day wore on. Only had one person slip'n'slide an' go down on the course, and yes it was the RO, ME!!!:lol2:

The carbine match is on hold. The club is working through some safety concerns with shooters moving with loaded firearms. Once the issues are resolved it may open the possibility of additional action pistol and rifle matches, we'll keep you updated.

Hope you're able to resolve whatever issues are in the way. The carbine match is just pure fun! And let me know if you need help with set up and running the match. Glad to volunteer.
