Yup within 24hrs... Now there is no way to legally do the initial registration. I know someone else who did the same. He just sent in the annual registration in May and nothing was ever said about the initial registration. So don't stress it, he just had it planned out that if the question was ever asked, he mailed it with $10 Cash. If the post office lost it... not his issue and how would he know...

So I went back to the dealer and asked him why he did not tell me about the immediate registration requirement. He did not know about it. Any suggestions?

I would send in both the initial and the annual form with 2 $10 checks. This is mainly a revenue item for MSP.
