    Yes, added a stock..................

Since assault pistols are not legal for purchase in MD. I always wanted an
    SP89 or copy. I bought a factory Coharie CA89 AOW, hahahaha..........loophole!

I then filed a form 1 to make it an SBR.

It took so long because they had to void the AOW from the NFA and make it an SBR, cant have two NFA's in the system with the same serial number. Atleast thats what they told me why it took so long.

No biggie, I already had the weapon as an AOW, so it was just waiting to put the stock on it.

Congrats on the creative way of getting around the MD regulations. And you only had to pay $205 for the 2 stamps. IMHO, you ended up with a gun that will be more accurate and more fun to shoot.

Congratulations! Don't let ar15Dave know, he'll be very envious. :envy: His Multimount has been in Gemtech limbo for months.

Well it finally arrived at my friendly NFA dealer. It is suppose to be one of the new version models of the Multimount. Will have to try to stop down and see. Now I have to get the paperwork into BATFE. Doing an SBR, Gemtech Multimount, and LRM169 on a Trust. Wish me luck.

Lets see if I can break the 4 month mark (shorter) on one of these three.

Ya, I thought it was pretty creative..................lol

    Now that's fast! How?

That's about right. It used to take a month from the time that your check was cashed to get assigned a reviewer (pending). Now it's running about 2 weeks. This is probably due to the recent change (6/11) where reviews are assigned by state. Since Pickles has MD, the assignment process should be fast and simple.

Same here. Im thinking the end of April for this last one of mine. Ofcourse I hope it comes back sooner then that. But I dought it will.

Just make sure you double check if rsideout has anything in. He is usually the reason there are such long wait times. I heard they were going to hire an examiner just for him but it was not in the budget.

I have 4 items in. rsideout is a bad influence on my wallet.
