Would this meet MD's undefined HBAR definition? Also any thoughts on this barrel? I can't say I need it for any particular task but I just like it along with SDM profile barrels.

I've been looking for an 18" barrel too...specifically SDM and "3-gun" profiles. My guess is it's GTG...>.750" throughout, no M203 cut. But, there's also some speculation that MSP wants it to be either marked or advertised by the manufacturer as "heavy." Engage does have some WOA SDM profile barrels marked "HBAR," just not 18" (at least as of the last time I was there).

I've emailed a couple manufacturers of barrels I was looking at to see if they would give me something in writing that they consider it "heavy" .... No luck as of yet.

Take a look at DEZ Arms. They have 18" bbls. marked as "heavy and bull" with different fluting options and they shoot great. I've got one of their 20"s. It's a tack driver.

I would consider that an HBAR. For what my opinion is worth or not worth. :)
