i think that info is out of date. Nowadays it seems you have to have a in-bore lock.

That is what this entire thread is about. These are bore locks (generally from Omega) we are loaning out that are officially approved by Maryland.

380 Bore lock

Not sure which kind they are but the Calvert County Sheriff's office will give you one for free. Spoke to Sheriff Evans personally.
