Hey how would I go about getting a LCR in 9mm on the roster? They have all the other calibres but not this one.

Submit a caliber addition petition. Email Marlene Jenkins, she can get you the form to fill out if you want to do it yourself.

Ok so what happens after I fill this form out and submit it? DO they grant it like...right away (I know I know...) or does it take 10 years

It will be considered at the next handgun roster board meeting. If approved, it will be listed in the next MD Register for 30 days (printed every 2 weeks). If no objections are received, it will then be added to the roster.

The deadline for Roster Board submissions for the next meeting is Feb 12 so get on it. The actual Board meeting is the 26th I believe.

Anyone have the list for the March 27th meeting?

I want to know if the Glcok 43 is up for 'approval'?
They don't hand out the list before the meeting. If someone attends, they can take photographs of the list they hand out at the meeting itself.

This is frustrating as the MD register just came out (03APR2015): http://www.dsd.state.md.us/MDRegister/4207/Assembled.htm

And no Handgun Board results were listed. The last Handgun roster board was held on 27 March 2015. So I have to wait another 2 weeks before the 30 days starts? This is getting ridiculous.

Not really unusual, the time between roster board approval and appearing officially on the roster is supposed to be 45 days. The first register is almost always skipped. I can probably get the disposition list if anyone's super interested. (I submitted a BUL Storm, which is more or less identical to the million CZ-75s and derivatives on the roster, so I'm not worried.)

I would be lying if I said "I'm not super interested".

I only checked the MD register at 0615 this morning (wasn't posted) and again at 0800 (when it was posted) to see that they did in fact skip this register.

Wish I had Carry last night

Was on way to visit family and guy in front of me wacked two deer. One ran off the other was hurt bad and flailing on side of road and trying to get up. The gun in truck kept going. So i stopped. Poor thing. Young doe. got up twice but fell back down. I wish i had carry or had FA in Truck to put it down. So sad. Called 911 to send AC or sheriff out. waited 20 mins. Driver that hit dear came back to scene and took over keeping deer from getting back in traffic. Not sure if he took it after it passed or the guys with guns came and ended it.

These days,I keep a 10 inch super sharp bowie in my truck tool kit just for those type of events.

I have been at accident sites where the responding officer wouldn't take the shot to put a deer down. Probably didn't want to spend time on "administrative duties" during the inquisition that would follow. :sad20:

What does any of this have to do with getting a handgun on the roster?

I have been told that everything submitted to the roster was approved. Didn't get the list, though. :(
