Not on the banned list. In rifle format, they just need barrels long enough not to be SBRs. I think all are well over 29" so that wont be a problem if you wanted to convert one to SBR. All the orig barrels are shy of 16" so there will either be a bit of barrel sticking out of the orig shroud *OR* I've seen some builders extend the shroud to cover the longer barrel.
FWIW, I have an SBR PPS43. The pistol is on the MD pistol roster in both orig Tokarev & conversion 9mm luger calibers. Its over 29" so you can file a Form1 to SBR it and unfold the stock.
