Now if the AR10 is still legal to purchase in MD, does the same go for the Ruger SR-762? The Ruger is a 7.62 Nato/.308 Win AR type rifle. Just wondering...

The MSP released an advisory to my knowledge which allows some or all of the FFLs to pin the mags. I will not try to interpret the advisory but you can find it for yourself here (seems self-explanatory):
