    I am looking for someone that installs carpet. I'm looking to have the carpet in my living room and hall replaced to start. the living room is about 20x20 with one step down into the kitchen. The hallway is about 3x20. I would provide the carpet and padding, just trying to get an idea of what installation would run

    Avg base price for a sub is about $5.50 yd. For your situation, about $300. Carpet shops will add about 50 to 100% markup on labor.
