I have a Tikka lite 7mm looking for a scope to use the guns full range. I was looking for a scope around $399 at most. Its gonna be used for the range also hunting I am new to long range but I want the most range. I want to go far as I can.

    Get a Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14

    Mine's on a Browning A Bolt 243.

Has a left side focus knob as well for distance.

Burris Zee-Rings hold it in place.

I would go Nikon or Redfield (Revenge 6-18x44).

I have had great luck with 3 Reddfield scopes. Very good value.

Not many scopes are well-suited to doing double duty - hunting and long-range shooting.

The same thick reticle that's going to be easy to pick up in a busy background while trying to get the bead on a moving animal isn't going to do you any favors shooting tight groups or trying to hit a target at extended distance.

Super snipers a amazing for the money.

Another great budget choice is Bushnell Elite 10X I have one on a budget build and it works great.

    I have a Nikon buckmasters 4.5X14 on my model 700 7mm.
That being said, it's getting replaced with a Vortex Viper.
Check out cameralandny for good prices on open box and display models.

For the money Vortex is your best bet (Can't beat the warranty which also transfers). In that range a close second, and a scope built like a tank is the Falcon Menace or the Super Sniper as others mentioned.

    My input:
Both of these have great clarity and build quality and very clear glass

    Bushnell tactical elite fixed 10x44.
    Leupold VX-1 or VX-2

I have a buckmastrr that I like. I have also been very impressed by how bright and clear the bushnell banner dusk and dawn scopes are.

Redfield was a sleeper when it came back two-three years ago. I have 3 of their scopes and I love them. Revenge is good multi class scope if you want a hunter with range ability. I use a revenge on my .270 WSM and my 7mm rem mag.
