    Just wanted to share an ongoing project. This was the prototype and we'll be making more like this in 7.62x39 and 5.45x39. Fixed stock, 12.5" barrel, wood or plastic furniture. Anyway, just thought I would share some pics of the project.

    Do you have to shorten the gas system on these 12.5" barrels? Just curious...

    Negative. The beauty of the 12.5" set up is that the requires nothing more than standard parts. There was one 5.45 we did that required a slight mod to the gas system but other than that its all been to standard AK "spec" if thats actually a thing.
