I just signed up for the forums, figured I would share my AR. Its a DPMS LR-308, took me right around 7 months to get. I've actually been thinking of selling it lately...

Squirrels: is that a true blue machine gun, or did you just get the "auto" markings for show?

Haven't been back to this thread in a while...trying to save money and seeing all these fine weapons isn't helping that. :D

No, it's not an MG. (I wish) All the POF lowers come with the markings. I got the POF because a local FFL had them and I'm a "billet whore". You can usually tell a "real MG" by looking for the auto-sear pin in the back of the lower receiver.

The weak part in that gun is the RRA trigger. I want to eventually get one of the upgraded ones that ADCO sells but...saving money and all that.

I also need an optic for it. Thinking TA31F or H. Not sure yet.

Nothing too fancy....both complete CMMG flat top uppers and lowers; top 14.5 upper w/ permanent flash and XTS 135 red dot and BUIS, bottom 16 upper with iron sites. Built bottom one from stripped CMMG lower from GC and CMMG lower parts kit and collapsable stock kit. Top was complete lower with upper from Dan at GC. Neither has seen the range yet....too cold. LOL

    Update

I have updated my two AR15's

Olympic Arms K3B flatop with: Burris High Mount, Tasco Reddot PDTS132, UTG quad rail, Pro mag forward grip handle, new AR-Stoner longer length buttstock, midwest indutries BUIS. She is my "Mall Ninja". Notice my liberal application of tactical looking accessories that are not mil-spec knock down door tough. I will say that the UTG quad rail is sturdy as hell and locks up tight. I used blue locktight to all threads on the rail.

Olympic Arms Plinker plus with a M4 telescoping stock, M4 handguards, A1 rear sight. This one is "Plain Jane".

Sad that I have named my rifles.....:sad20:

Two new group buy lowers comin in. Whatever will I do, thanks for the great ideas.

Thinkin a HBAR CAR16 with olive and a collapsible stock and building a gas piston folding stock gun for an ultra reliable compact AR.

Going to have to get myself some more mags!
