Think I'll spring for a 5.56 one once my .22 one gets out of jail. I don't have any kids and I can't take my money with me
no shooting rimfire from a 5.56 can, unless you intend for it to quickly (depending how often you use it with rimfire) become a paperweight.
lead buildup. that's why pistol & rimfire cans are able to be user-disassembled for cleaning. rimfire from a sealed can......bad juju.
pard in nebraska didn't clean his rimfire can for 3 years.
it weighed nearly 3x the manufacturer's spec, and didn't really quiet anything down anymore.
he ran it in an ultrasonic cleaner for a day and a half, couldn't believe how lightweight it was.
