It has grown on me. The gun looks more sexy, and is like the Teela of the gun world to me now.
I love the "E" series guns. The scalloped slides and the rounded butt are really nice. Price is real good considering what you get and the quality.

That would have to be the all-steel model. And no Skeletorized hammers allowed!
BTW, here is an excellent link or two for reference on teething issues people are having with the E-Series guns. That guy Hilton Yam on the 10-8 forum link at the top of the above link has some great info on the "walking pin" problem and how it will be handled by S&W.
