    and yes, any pre-1965 AK is C&R. Must not be a parts kit gun. Has to be original and is near impossibile to find in that condition....

    Ahh, just looking for optic suggestions for an AK. Thinking RS Regulate mount and primary arms micro or vortex sparc. Anyone know if it's possible to get a "lower 1/3" type co witness with either? I'm thinking the emitter might obscure the sights depending on the optic, but really don't know.

    I've never run an AK with a dot, only irons or a scope.
