    So can a regular citizen use an anonymous, unsubstantiated claim of receiving information that is "credible threat" as G&S or is that something only the police can do?

    gun control has never been about public safety. There is an entire encyclopedia of evidence that concealed carry lowers the crime rate...Gun control is about control...as in it's easier to control an unarmed population....that's why quoting statistics, letter writing and rallies have no affect when dealing with a legislature that is majority liberal. Short of a court ordered mandate, the only way Maryland will ever get a "shall issue" law would be to replace the liberals with 2A friendly politicians....which, unfortunately isn't going to be possible the way the current election districts are drawn....and since they won't be changed for another 5 years....well....don't hold your breath..

    Never. Public officials are not interested in your safety. They are interested in ruling you. You can't rule law abiding people, so they spend 90 days in Annapolis every year thinking up laws to make as many people as possible into criminals.
