OK here we go. I just got a Sendra M16.

    Paper Form 4
    Trust
    Check cashed July 25th
    Pending Aug 6th
    Approved Dec 5th
    Stamp received Dec 13th
    Picked up Dec 17th

So right at 4 months and that is with an issue on the Form 4.

    Dave

Were you in the Bahamas from the 14th to the 17th? :D
I burned rubber as soon as I got the call that my stamp showed up!

    Pending Aug 8th
    Approved Dec 22nd
    Stamp received Dec 30th
    Picked up Dec 31st

Holidays bit me, but not bad compared to the fact that I called ATF to check for my approval on Dec 18th and got the usual "pending, should be completed by April/8-9 months" reply.

My first NFA item, it was much easier to just try to forget about it and get all my barrels threaded in the mean time than to reread all the same reviews and information on the can over and over again.

The can ran 55-77gr factory and reloaded ammo without a hicup or malfunction and minimal gas blowback in my face compared to what I remember from firing suppressed weapon systems overseas.

I got mine for my 45Osprey New Years eve from Engage, same time frame. seems lately paper forms are running around 8 months.

Now if they'd stop losing 5320.20's life would be good.

That's the one I can't understand. Why would they not be an easy 1-2-3 day turn around?

No transfer of ownership. My goodness, I just want to take my firearm from my home state to another state.

No explanation other than either BATFE or the USPS has some real issues IMO. I can't take my new SBR to the NRA because these dolts can't check and sign a form and drop it in the mail x 3.

Phone calls get a sullen response every time I have called. "Why are you bothering us" is the tone I take from it.

That's what I figured, but I didn't know for sure...

Correct, I should've stated it was .223/5.56 ammunition from a rebuilt/repurposed Colt MT6700 MK12 type AR. Saker 7.62 for multi caliber versatility, I have only utilized the can on this rifle so far as my other rifles are having barrel work done by Harren Custom Rifles. Great guy by the way, great quality in work and a fountain of knowledge.

Form 4 on a trust sent in May 2014 still waiting. Talked to ATF in December and they said should be done in the next few weeks.

Weird I had a Form 4 on trust that went Pending Aug 6th and approved end of Nov beginning Dec.

Looks like, at least with paper Form 4s and Trusts, that approval is running 4-5 months.
