Ok I realize Beretta moved out of MD because of O'Malley and I give them props for that but when did they move their textile factory to Pakistan?

Since you are in Parkville, my father owned the mens store in Hillendale Shopping Center. 20 or maybe 30 years I made a determined effort to only buy Made in America shirts and pants. It couldn't be done then it can't be done now. They used to make suits in Baltimore and Frederick...gone. Nearly all the mills in North Carolina have shut down.

Garment manufacturing has always been a cutthroat industry. They will source labor from thousands of miles away, over a few cents difference in labor costs. They'll move entire factories from one continent to another, as local labor rates change.

    Welcome to globalization.
