That railed VZ58 is awesome. Must be a lucky owner.

What goes on the bottom in the last pic?

    Bayonet lug?

Yes sir. The lug will accept a bayonet or bipod. I even found a picture of one of the wood gripped bayonets for you, but I don't have any of them around the shop. I've seen people attaching other accessories to the bayo lug as well- lights, lasers, some kind of adapter for what looks like a mosin spike bayonet...

Oh, and a note: The selector markings were custom engraved in-house. Though simple, they were reproduced from an original parts kit. We've just digitized some Russian AK and RPK selector markings as well...
We're still getting acquainted with our CNC mill, but have begun in-house engraving for NFA items, we'll be posting prices and info about that soon.

Bugger, Can you engrave already assembled AKs or does it have to be a stripped receiver? I want to bring my Russian folder John built back to have this done.

    Thanks

Not sure how I missed this. We should be able to do that. Still getting some stuff figured out as far as pricing, expected turnaround times, etc.
If you want to bring it down some time, we can discuss it.

Just getting around to taking some photos of two AK rifles built by John at Duffy's. These were Romanian G kits on Nodak Spud receivers. They turned out very nice, the build quality is excellent. Can't wait to get out and shoot them. As soon as I collect the remaking parts for the other kits I have I'll be bringing them to Duffy's too. Then I can pick up the t-shirt I forgot to buy last time I was in the shop.
