since a lower could be a pistol, i would think it would need a 77r. it still needs to be on the roster to be sold AFAIK.

I was told by Nate(Engage) on a previous thread, 77rs are no longer required for lowers(stripped?). Are they required again? My head hurts!:drunk:

    this exactly why I asked.

Are any other IP's taking the same stance as Engage? very similar situation to certain IP's NOT releasing in 8 days when so many other shops were.

yes, which ,means it could be an HBAR or a pistol legally

ps sent Nate an email. will report back.

"other" doesn't specify what it "could be" it specifies it is other than a pistol. otherwise it would be designated "pistol" not "other"

but specifying it as other allows you to build it either way. i suppose since BATFE says as pistol can be a rifle it wouldn't matter in MD. In MD it can only be a pistol or an HBAR. but if it's a rifle first it can't ever be a pistol. doing it as O it could be either.

Just spoke to Engage. A 77r is REQUIRED to transfer a stripped lower. Disregard any previous info to the contrary.

The form says ''other'' my lower(Engage) says ''multi''

In your case, it doesn't have to be an H-bar, being as you live in Pa.

yeah im good on that part. I was hoping I could sell the lowers to you guys in MD a bit easier based on what I was hearing from engage, but I guess not. bummer.

thanks for the heads up you guys!!

Even if MD says it's ok, it would still have to go through a MD FFL as you live in PA. C and C only would be legal between 2 residents of the same state.

What about a complete lower? Curious because PSA has their blems with Magpul furniture for $159.99.

IANAL or an FFL but I'm guessing yes. The receiver is the firearm. It would have to go to a MD FFL for transfer to you.
