I'm a big believer in cooperation and networking with our brothers in other states.

Throwing ourselves under our own bus to benefit our visitors is over the top. Help them while nuetral for us is great ! Giving more net disadvantage to us, than advantage for them, not good.

Anyone have a quick copy/paste in order to send an email to the legislators in MD? I have family in PA so I'd love for the state of MD to be able to recognize my permit from WV.

Funny, I just pasted this in another thread since I hadn't seen it put out for a while

e-mail one or all Senators, Delegates, Governor and newspapers

That being said it was Senator Steve Waugh (Southern Maryland) Who wrote the bill. I was grateful that he gave me a few minutes in his office yesterday after the 2A get together on the Square. He explained that it is vaguely written so that it can't get chopped up from the get go. He didn't specify resident or non-resident because then it would be to easy to chop non-resident. As it stands someone would have to introduce resident only.

I'm still wondering about one of the sponsors being "Montgomery", presumably Karen Montgomery, a life-long anti in Montgomery (sic) county. If she's indeed a sponsor, then what's she up to?

It's easy to back a bill that is so obviously going nowhere. Her fan base will not care (or will at least will not vote against her - libs are very narrow minded) and she might get some additional votes out of it.

This will never gain traction in any committee meeting. This is DOA.

Unfortunately yes. It'll go to a committee with a rabid anti-gunner head from Baltimore, PG, or Montgomery County who'll desk drawer veto in order to protect any Dems in swing counties from actually voting on it. Just having the votes isn't enough.
