:D Remington makes a 700SPS in 300blk w/a threaded bbl. 2A had them in stock a while back. Its cool, but if Im buying a 700 bolt I really want it to be in 308 for the reach-out-and-touch-something-at-1000yds type thing;) It would be neat if it could still be run suppressed (though the 308 bbl would surely be longer than needed.) The 300SPS only had a 16.5" bbl which would make it quite a bit shorter, esp since you know you're going to be hanging a suppressor off it.

You got a lot of good info here. I have an AAC SDN 6 and like it. I'm starting to really like the Thunder Beasts having looked at a few at Continental Arms. They even have a monster for .338 Lapua.

    Good to know!

I have a 300blk AR upper but want a bolt gun eventually. A 300blk bolt is sort of a one hit wonder and I think I'd rather spend the coin on a 308.

For .300 Blackout, due to the small case capacity, you don't use Trail Boss. Not even sure you get get enough in a .300 BLK case. :)

AA1680 seems to be the best for subsonic and full functioning. But IMR 4227 and H110/WW296 (same powder) and Lil' Gun are also listed.

.300 Blackout in a bolt gun doesn't make much sense to me.

Also, realize that .300 BLK subsonic is limited for hunting. Not legal for deer in MD.

300 Blackout in a bolt gun or a break action is stoopid quiet. No action noise. Click and impact is all you hear really. Beyond that, yeah, you're just lobbing bricks in a rainbow past 100yds or so.

1680 has been inconsistent compared to some other powders for me. When shooting subs with a can 296/H110/300MP, 5744, and lil'gun will all cycle. All of those powders are quieter than 1680 so bonus to that.
