I'm hoping Black Horse gets more poly stocks in
They back in business? They were ripping people off at some point and not returning their money. I wanted one of their stocks but steered clear.

I'll second the unforgiving eye relief and also my reticle appears out of focus in certain lighting and shot alignment situations. That said, this combo was good for 1.6 MOA groups using cheap Wolf 174 poly. Not going to beat my FNAR, but easily within first-shot hit territory at 300M.
I embrace the simple reality that the VEPR 54R is not ever going to be a match rifle, especially when I'm usually shooting cheap surplus out of it. It's a passable DMR for 300-400m, and that's about it. 8x is plenty for those distances and large target sizes.

Well, crap, I guess it's good I didn't order from them...!

Are there any other stocksets out there that have a rotating cheek riser like the Russians? I like Ronin's poly copy of the old Robarms stuff but am really looking for something more SVD-styled:

Back on topic: I have a POSP 8x laying around for years I am planning on using. I had it on an old x39 VEPR and it worked great although eye relief is my biggest complaint. This thread had me considering something newer.
