Love the color scheme! Upgrade list?

Not an upgrade really. This is not a 10/22. This is a complete TS X-ring custom build.(the X-Ring is based on the Ruger 10/22, but it is of a slightly different design. The main difference is the 2 recoil springs and guide rods as well as the charging handle attaching directly to the bolt. The receiver also is drilled to be cleaned from the breach not the barrel. ) Parts list:
    Tactical Solutions X-Ring receiver
Tactical Solutions Pac-light 16" threaded barrel
    Aftermarket trigger housing
    Oversized one piece trigger
    Volquartsen internals and hammer
    Yukon Extreme stock

    Nice found.

Deal of a lifetime! Not completely my thing since I'm into the tacticool style, but for $300 I had to buy it!! FYI - MSP and BCPD confirm it is not stolen, although I think I robbed the guy lol

Ruger 10/22, Tactical Solutions barrel w compensator, Raptor Stock, Volquartsen trigger assembly, Nikon Prostaff scope, not sure about internals. Hitting the range tomorrow

Here is my new Henry Golden Boy. I always wanted one and was not plan to get it this early but got a good deal so end up getting it. No regret at all. Very very nice built.

The Golden boy does weight more then average .22LR rifle @ 6.75lb but balances well.

Very smooth lever action that I can cycle it with my pinky.

Can hold 16 rounds .22 LR or 21 rounds .22 Short
The Tube speed loader can only hold 15 rounds 22LR per tube and you can load 15 rounds into Henry for less then 10 sec using it.

The trigger is very good, I used the puller scale and I was surprise that little less than 3 1/2 lb trigger pull. I did it 3 times to confirm it.

Very accurate due to the heavy 20" Henry Octagon barrel.

    Good Shooting here

    Good Review here

10 pounds 10 ounces ... yeah, its not a sportster

    Kneeling at 50

Got a trade going for the stock already ... ordered some clear front sight inserts (couldn't find the bull's when they were outside the center of the sight with amber insert that came with the gun) need to find some spacers for LOP

That's sick dude! Does it work just like any other 10/22?

Here's my take on this experiment:

    Cons:
It takes longer to "print" than it does to machine a receiver out of a raw block of aluminum. (about 6 hours, I have a slow printer, faster printers can do it in 4-5 hours.)
It is hard to get it to print correctly, it took three tries of playing with support settings.
It's fragile, not something I'd throw in the trunk of a car or drop down a flight of stairs.
It still requires some "machining" with mill or dremel to remove all of the support material.
It requires some extensive filing and drilling to get exterior dimensions down to spec.
Surface preparation requires the use of MEK and/or Acetone, both of which aren't exactly safe.
The rail on top doesn't work very well, it compresses when clamped.
It takes quite a bit of trial and error to get enough material removed to get the bolt to run freely, some areas are oversize.

    Pros:
While it's printing you can leave the house, unlike a CNC mill.
    It's light.
It's easy to cut the holes with a knife or drill bit by hand.
Requires very little tooling compared to raw aluminum.
    It works.
    It works suppressed.
It fits into a standard stock and takes all standard 10/22 components.

I know this looks like an advertisement, but this stock is pretty cool. It's another printed receiver.

Williams Firesights (just the rear, I can't get the front sight out :()
    Underfolderstocks 10/22 underfolding stock
stock ruger barrel, charge handle, polished ruger bolt
    3d printed receiver

These things are addictive. I will probably trash this receiver though, I really messed up the paint and now even though it runs like a sewing machine, it looks like crap.
