I don't have the Pink Platinum ( sorry, I just couldn't buy that gun ) but I do own the P22 with the 5" target barrel and it is one great little gun.

With the 5" target barrel it is well weighted and doesn't feel lightweight. Very little recoil. I've actually had men come up to me and ask what my gun is - because it certainly looks like a helluva lot more gun than it actually is. I've never had any issues with it, and it comes apart and goes back together very easily. Also can be had for about $400.00.

Also? I have very small hands and many guns are simply too big for me. I can't hold Glocks; they are too big. This Walther is good for me in that respect.

It was my very first handgun and I still enjoy shooting it.

If she's really got her heart set on the pink one, you will probably have to special order it. I'm not familiar with gun stores at all in your area, just ones from my area north.
