    Howdy,

Can we get a little more info for first timers please?

    Courses of fire?

    Types of firearms?

    Calibers?

    Approximate number of rounds needed?

    Any info is good info.

    Thank you.

5 Bazillion rounds, standing, sitting, prone, moving, sleeping. Crawl out to the 300 yard line in the mud to change targets and run back. :lol2:
Seriously, bring what ever you have and ammo. Observe and have fun. You will love it.

There are 2 x25 yard pistol/small caliber ranges, 1 50 yard , 1 100 yard, 1 200 yard and 1 300 yard berm. Each berm has roughly 8 to 10 target stands. Last time I went, a friend made a cardboard stand to put clays in it and shoot as well.

    Rifle, pistol, shotguns.

No caliber limits.. Im bringing a 50bmg :D

Ammo is up to you. Depends on how much you want to shoot for the day and how long you decide to stay

I would be there if I didn't work weekends . It's been too long since I've been to a shoot.
Anybody want to shoot on a Friday ?

I'd be good for a Friday sometime before mid-May ... I wouldn't mind meeting a bunch of MDS folks, but the crowded firing line doesn't appeal to me.

I think the worst was when I was working with both boys' teams, and involved as an Adult Leader in both their Cub Scouts AND Boy Scouts

Well, we don't do scouts and it's one sport per season. So we still maintain our sanity at the moment :lol2:

Hey guys. Still looking for some RSO volunteers too. If no one volunteers I'm going to see if the range can supply them with a large group showing up. Let me know if anyone is interested in volunteering some time. If we have enough volunteers, RSO's can rotate out so everyone has plenty of time to shoot.

Never would say anyone on here would be this way but.....
When your down range setting up targets keep an eye on your shooting area. Few months ago I had about 200 bucks worth of mags walk away up there.
I don't do the public range thing anymore.....

Haven't had any issue (yet) at a public range. But I make it a point to pack light (easier to keep inventory of items) and to have someone I trust completely watch the bench when I go downrange.

sleev-les, I have to back out. I was down for me +1 and I have to do a walk-through at my new range. They only hold it once a month and I have to get it done now. I was really looking forward to this and to meeting a bunch of you.

Ok. Thanks for letting me know.

Last day for headcounts. I'm calling them in tomorrow morning at 10 so there is a little time left if anyone else is planning to attend.
