Getting ready to start aquiring the parts to finish off my PSA AR-10 lower I've built. I am wanting to do a precision build and plan to run it with a dedicated supressor. Do I go with an 18" or 20"? I would say 20" but with a supressor on it I feel like it would be way too long. I MIGHT use it to hunt with but that's a big might.

On average, .308 tends to lose around 50fps per inch of barrel loss.

If you're going to run it with a can, why not just go with a 16" barrel? Not a massive loss of velocity, and it'll be even more handy than the 18+" option.

Not knowing a lot about AR 10s I would agree with hippo. I'm about to begin a deer hunting AR in 300 AAC. It will be suppressed and have a 10.5-11.5" barrel. I realize its apples and oranges but when it comes to wielding a rifle in tight spaces(treestand and such), less is more.
