One quick question. A stripped DPMS AR .308 lower. Local shop has them for ......$290.00 My reaction on seeing that price was "wow!" and in wow that is sure overpriced. Am I wrong? After paying $60 a piece for a bunch of Anderson 5.56 lowers before Oct.13, I haven't bought any in awhile and am thinking of building a .308 AR. Just seems to me to be way overpriced. Your thoughts, please.

It's an apples and oranges comparison. I think the 308 lowers are milled from a billet and the $60 at lower is likely cast. Compare the price vs a billet ar lower and it will be a similar price.

That is high, even for a fancy billet 308 lower. Go with the aero's and you'll be fine and save a lot of $$
