    8 years playing airsoft here. nope, jg's are not good. get classic army, g&p, ICS, g&g are the good ones. "Buy Once, Cry Once" ... Those pistons, once they break they are expensive, them gears once they stripped theyre expensive. The gearbox once they cracked its almost more expensive than a brand new airsoft...

    I would suggest an ICS one as the gear boxes from what I remember are really easy to swap out should something go wrong

    I've played airsoft for 9 years now. I worked at a store // arena for 3. I wouldn't say JG's are good. Low end, starter stuff. They ARE tanks though. They don't break internally very easily. We used them as rentals because they were so durable. Frankly, they hold up well to abuse.

    I'd suggest a G&G combat machine for best price to performance among starter guns.
