If I post this 1972 handgun in the For Sale adds can I do a transfer with the buyer at the State Police Barracks in Frederick?

Sorry for asking but I have never sold a handgun before. Any other procedures to process this transaction is appreciated.

Yes, you can. You and the buyer go into the barrack and start the paperwork. Leave the gun in your vehicle until instructed by the Trooper. Bring a check for $10, no cash. The buyer must have the HQL or be otherwise exempt.
