Local guy is selling his Winchester 92 in 32-20 for $1050. From his ad:
"24" octagonal barrel & crescent butt. Very tight lockup of takedown barrel, smooth action. Bore is murky but rifling is strong, shoots very well. Rear sight looks to be a Marbles folding/adjustable. Came to me in need of mag plug and forend iron + cap; new parts are on but need fitting.
Also included are an Ideal No. 4 reloading tool of similar vintage, a few pieces of brass, 25 semi-jacket bullets and a dozen of my very light reloads to use at your own risk or break down for parts.
Looking for $1050, but would ideally like to trade (+/- cash as appropriate) for a .357 Marlin, Winchester, Browning or Rossi carbine. Whatcha got?"
Now I just happen to have a Rossi in .357 that I'd be willing to work a trade with, but is his rifle and extras, in that condition, worth $1050?
Yes, I own two 32-20 revolvers and reload for the caliber already, and I have more ammunition and brass to work with
