DNR puts on some good classes

It was a good class. The live fire portion was disappointing. I was hoping for a larger caliber rifle, but they had a .22lr. They did have a 20 gauge slug gun. I got really good information during the discussion portion of the class. Also spoke to a reporter from the Frederick News-Post newspaper re: Sunday hunting. She was there to get perspective on Sunday hunting from hunters (why she chose a beginners class is beyond me).

I think they will be offering others as funds allow.
The classes are funded by a grant.
