Anyone got personal experience with this companies optics? Been hunting for a good combo under $300 for my M1A.

Strikefire is a bit bulky, but solid and has a nice, sharp dot. The magnifier is decent, and better than the one that comes with and screws into the strikfire body itself. It also has a cantilever so it can swing out of the way when you don't want it. Seems like a good buy to me!

On top of what snallygaster said, Vortex also offers a great warranty. I haven't had to use it, both my Sparc and Strikefire RDS have been trouble-free. Only downside I might mention w/ these is the battery life. You're not getting Aimpoint or Meprolight battery life but you're also not paying Aimpoint prices. The new Meprolight Tru-dot RDS is more expensive than the Vortex offerings, but less than an Aimpoint or EOTech.

Sorry you guys missed the deal. I thought it was too good not to post but it was mentioned on the Cabela's page that it was a limited time offer.

I am looking at the Vortex Sparc II as well. I am glad to see people like that optic. I have an aimpoint pro on one rifle. I can afford another aimpoint. I will probably pick up the Sparc II and call it a day.
