    here are my thoughts - as an SD40 owner -
    > not very accurate AND shoots a little too low for my liking. Mine is not terribly accurate, either. Some folks have sworn by their SD gun, tho.
    > didn't like the trigger (the pull can be improved with the apex trigger/spring kit) and I wonder whether the trigger is causing me problems (overtravel and the hinge in the middle)

    I have a Sigma Enhanced SW9VE and I just finally picked up a SD9VE. I haven't had a chance to shoot the new one. I did trigger work on the Sigma which was easy and got it down to about 6lbs. I also polished it up and got the grittiness out. I also plan to do the same with the SD9VE.

    as someone who regularly carries a sig-sauer and consistently shoots above 285 when re-qualifying - I miss my old c9 comp! It was damn accurate and reliable. I've said it before - the trigger sucked and cleaning it was a PITA, but functionally it went bang and again - it was freaking accurate. just sayin'
