    I am looking at tricking out another 1022 but this time with irons.


    I like the option of putting a red dot, or other optic, on at a later date so the NDS-26 rear sight/rail looks more appealing than the rear made by Tech Sights.

    I prefer the appearance of the Tech Sights front sight. Also prefer the fact that it appears to use an AR15 front sight post vs. one for an SKS.

    Are the two naturally compatible? Can you mix them?

    Also, anyone have experience with both companies? Is there a quality difference?

    I've been looking at the same thing as you, Nodak Spud rear sight/rail and the tech-sight front. I found this thread at AR15.com where the guy that make the Nodak sights says they should work with the tech-sight front sight. Hopefully its true. :)

    If coynedogg doesn't want it, I'd be interested in buying it from you. Tech-sights sells them for $22, but a penny saved is a penny earned right. :D
