    I think the belt is going up in our Maytag. Squealing and emitting a rubber burning smell. Not a huge repair (I hope :) ) but I wanted to put it out to MDS members first. In Abingdon. Please PM me if interested. Thx--

    I put a new one on mine last year. I have an 30 YO Kenmore that still runs well. It wasn't a big deal, maybe took an hour or so if you want to try it yourself.

    I pulled the installation directions off the net'.
