So I saw on Glockporn's Instagram earlier today a post showing a new Glock 40, in 9mm, single stack, with a 7 round mag, basically like the 42 but in 9mm. Only 1.5" thick.

I noticed no one posted this on here and thought that was weird, then realized Glockporn removed the post, and now I can't find any proof of this. Either I am going crazy or someone made a mistake by posting it too early or something and I happen to see it.

I have a feeling it will be announced at Shot Show, that's something that Glock has needed for a while now.

Hmm, so they're going to make a "Glock 40" and it's going to be chambered in 9mm? That's not going to confuse the piss out of less gun savvy people or anything.

After digging some more it sounds like they removed the post because there are 2 possible model numbers for it. I agree 40 would confuse a lot of people.

The Glock 40 is a long slide 10MM. It is already on distributor sites. I have not seen any actual proof of a single stack 9 coming to market.

I saw the picture the OP is talking about. It was a fake. It was discussed ad nauseam on Glocktalk.

Shows how well I keep up with Glocks. I guess the G35 fits the bill. Oh well, just one more Glock to add to the list. Do you have an approximate idea on what retail would be?

The 35s are readily available and in stock at the distributor right now.

    Gen 4 35s are $699

Gen 4 35s w/ FDE frame are the same at $699

Gen 4 35s w/ FDE Frame and Slide are $759

I agree that if this is so a model 40 in 9mm would be confusing. But a single stack at 1.5 inches thick can not be correct. The 26 and 19 are 1.18" thick.

Something doesn't sound right here... I knew it had to be fake....
