It is commonly accepted behavior on forums to bump a slightly older thread (i.e. a week or two) and add to the discussion. Often times you won't need to add to it, as all the questions you may have are already posed and answered elaborately.

Well I'm sorry then, I'll keep that in mind.

I'd rather post a new thread, and ask follow up questions...rather than bump ancient threads.

The mods prefer that old threads get bumped as opposed to new ones being created. This way, when the next guy that wants cheap .45 comes along, there are fewer threads to view and the pertinent information is easier to find.

It just makes it easier for you as well, you can learn a lot reading what some people here post. Some of the more learned members don't post much anymore, but there info is locked into old threads.

And I am just a pain in the ass about it, often for no logical reason.:D

Not trying to be a pain in the ass faze.

What are your opinions on Tulammo? I've read good and bad...

My step-dad bought a bunch of the rebranded Herter's stuff. We haven't had a chance to get out and shoot it though. Looking forward to it sometime soon...1911s are nice shooters.

Wolf Black Box is Tula ammo. Same factory. You will hear good and bad. For a modern handgun, I'd say pay the extra and get cheap brass-cased ammo. The only thing I don't shoot steel-cased Russian ammo out of is my non-surplus handguns. But people do and they're happy with the results for plinking.

I shoot a lot of CCI Blazer, both aluminum and brass cased in 9mm and love it.

Im looking at a $20 off from BP for catalog orders, thinking of putting a 250 mega pack of UMC on backorder (out of stock) if it will let me. Thats not a hugely bad deal, about $90 delivered for 250rds and I can reload the cases.
