Just re-checked our calendar, and we'll be unavailable for both Beltsville and Bowie.

But, I strongly encourage anyone available and interested in getting involved and getting the public informed about the facts surrounding the current state of 2A in MD (and where we are headed) to get involved!

Here's hoping for a good turnout at two really fantastic events.

For those who might not be aware, Beltsville is one of those "Belly of the Beast" events that was taken on last year, and it turned out the organized was extremely pleased to have us.

MSI was specifically invited back for this year, so know that there is support for the message there.

Since you now have an events kit (which contains the swag and the new games/activities), you are correct. You can not "guess", because you have the answer key. :-)

I'd say that was a successful event, during my time there - there was only 1 person that didn't even attempt to hear the message, once concealed carry was brought up she just shut her mind off and walked away saying "I'm strongly against it".

    Can't reach everyone...

Great that you could make it.

Yes, there will always be "those people". With some experience, you can usually see them coming, and start with a crime/self/home protection angle instead.

Thanks for volunteering! In my experiences at any of these events, there's generally only 1 or 2 people who are against and they're usually passive aggressive in their approach at that.

Beltsville has always been a rather good area for the message to be received, even the people that didn't appear to have a set stance on any of the 2A issues will at least hear you out and try to absorb some info before coming to a decision.

The chamber flags broke the ice, got more than a few "What are those?". :)

Mopar and I pretty much saw the instant she decided to shut down, just smile and say 'Have a nice day', not much else you can do with those types. IMO.

**I couldn't stay for the whole event, had to bug out around 3:15/3:20 due to other obligations. And in all honesty, I likely didn't do that much - but at least I didn't wear the banana suit (it was too warm for that ;) ).
