    Folks,

Two questions, if already answered in a different topic apologies ( I could nto find):

    1. My father in law is a resident of VA, recently he purchased land and placed a few targets behind the house. Can I transport my handgun over the border to VA to shoot at this place?

    2. If I move to VA from MD to I just "drive" my guns over the line or do I need an FFL in MD to transfer to an FFL in VA?

    Thank you!

    1. Yes, in the trunk, unloaded. ammo is ok If no trunk (SUV) either firearm or ammo in a locked case. (FOPA) 926A statute

    2. No FFL. Do as in 1 above.

FYI OC is legal in VA.

    Enjoy freedom

I have a VA NR CCW permit but IANAL.
