This was my 4th year and haven't gotten it yet. I've heard of some who have put in since it started and still haven't gotten selected yet.

Just as a heads up, spoke with the office at greenridge about a group of us camping for a friends bachelor party, and we were warned that multiple black bears had been seen. Not up to date on bear laws and what not, but if it's legal, Apparently they're there.

Oh, They are there. I saw one fairly close on last day of rifle season 2 years ago. Very cool to watch a bear mosey around 50 yards away for over 5 minutes. We always find bear scat around Greenridge. Usually full of bird seed.

I also almost hit one with my truck leaving Bill's Place last year.

Even though there is a spring and fall season here, they are rare to see here...It doesnt mean they arent around...just a lot more weary around these parts. Ive only seen a handful of black bear in the wild...I did get to shoot one last year...

    good luck!
