Anybody notice the M44 on Walking Dead last night?
Okay actually they showed it (from far away) a few weeks ago.

Last night it got some spotlight!

They did a good job of making the stabbing effect look real. I never saw anything that made me think the bayonet was fake or retracting back.

Makes me wish I did not sell my T53 now.... Still got a Finn with a repro bayonet though!

Finally glad I have a gif of this now!

My wife was watching TWD next to me when I chimed up, "That's a Mosin!" She just looked at me and rolled her eyes. Good thing he didn't shoot it, it would have attracted zombies for miles around.

wonder if they bent a bayonet or two during shooting? They're pretty sturdy, but sticking them in the ground like spears will bend them pretty quick.

Gotta admit though, the mosin is and has been lauded as a fine zombie gun since the first zombie themed myspace groups started discussing it.

It's a melee weapon, it's a fairly accurate and VERY powerful rifle- what more could you want? Dead simple to repair, and tough as nails.

hahaha, had the same EXACT thing happen with my girlfriend.

But I do that all the time anyways any time I see guns on TV.
