I'd like to do use one of my lowers to make an SBR, just wondering where fellow Harford County folks are going to get their stuff done?

I've been referred to Absolute Investigative Services on Main Street in Bel Air for fingerprinting, and also the Harford County Sheriff's Office also in Bel Air for the sign off. I keep seeing posts that mention going to Pikesville but I honestly don't have time for that.

This is also my first NFA item and from what I've gathered, is this the order of events?

    1. Fill out form 1 and 5330.20
    2. Get fingerprints done
    3. Have a CLEO sign off on forms
    4. Send papers, prints, $200 to ATF
    5. Engrave lower receiver with name, city and state
    6. Wait awhile
    7. Enjoy

I use a trust. Skip CLEO, fingerprints and photographs.

I've been thinking of using the MDS template. If I do, I just send a notarized copy of it with the form 1 and $200 to the ATF right?

Engraving? Ugh. So silly that you have to do that.

I know, I'll probably put it under the trigger guard. I have a Noveske and Seekins so they're built in and not the removable ones.
