For my next interview at a Hospital should I shave off my Goatee or just keep it neatly trimmed short.

Having just met you (thanks again for the tumbler), I'd say a goatee suits you. However, it all depends on the position and the rules. You can never go wrong smooth shaven but if it's not prohibited, I don't think I'd shave.
I work in a hospital too and I have a full beard. No issues. I struggle to maintain the balance between ruggedly bearded and mountain man. If left to my own devices, it'd be mountain man but that might get me in a bit of trouble.

Beards are in style. Nicely kept facial hair commands more respect. I definitely get treated differently when I'm clean shaven.

If it is one color and matches your hair I'd say trim a little. If it's all salt n pepper colored I say shave.
