PRS is a local payroll, HR and employee benefit company located in Urbana. PRS is a regional provider of payroll to over 5,000 employees in over 40 states.
We are looking to expand our compliance staff by adding an individual that can perform tax research, problem solving and analysis.
Responsibilities will include:
-Helping to maintain database integrity through verification methods.
-Tax Research for various state payroll compliance.
-Responsible for assisting in the preparation of payroll tax returns through our system
-Responsible for assisting in compliance
-Develop procedures for best practices
Requirements
Experience in payroll tax is preferred but not required.
You must be able to work on your own.
Computer skills must be excellent.
You must be extremely well versed in Excel.
Must have excellent problem solving skills.
This is a part time position for three days a week (15-18 hours). Hours and schedule are flexible.
PRS offers excellent part time paid time off.

This is a part time position. The best type of candidate for this job is someone who likes puzzels and is looking for work just to keep them busy. This is not a bread winner position.
