Every time I hear or think about SB 281, I just get pissed off. When the bill was voted on, I was watching on line and saw a crime occur in order to pass the bill.
If you saw it you know what I am talking about. After the vote started, it looked like it would not pass, so the vote was stopped and a few people were taken to another room, and came back. Then the vote went the other way.
So I still think someone was paid off or threatened to change their votes.

Let's help this delegate out and hammer the legislature with this on Tuesday. Maybe there will be enough distractions this session for this to slip through?

That was actually on a committee amendment to the bill and not the bill itself. The amendment did pass, a brief meeting was held in the back room, where the Democratic powers whipped a Delegate to change his vote. A re-vote occurred which came in as a tie, and according to House rules, a tie equals a failure of the amendment.

Yes, they cheated, one of many time they had to to get the bill passed, which means we were doing our jobs.

So I'm a little late on this, but does this cover repeal of HQL process? Has this bill made any progress? How do I check on progress so I don't bother anyone here?

This contains the statuses if all of the bills related to firearms
    http://mgaleg.maryland.gov/webmga/f...bjpage&tab=subject3&id=guns&stab=01&ys=2015RS

    This bill is HB306
    http://mgaleg.maryland.gov/webmga/frmMain.aspx?pid=billpage&tab=subject3&id=hb0306&stab=01&ys=2015RS

Unfortunately, the majority of the gun bills were not let out of either committee, so nothing happens.

So I'm assuming since it died we won't be able to do anything until next year now or am I wrong? And as far as MSI goes, they only have a year left to get their money together? Have they made any comments or status updates?
