I'm thinking it may be used against us, after all, illegal aliens can't be carrying guns around so neither should citizens, right?

No they don't. They haven't justified any of the restrictions they placed at the Federal, state and local levels. They just put their head down and mumble "safety" and "children" and try to enact even more restrictive laws.

And by the way, the point is moot since illegal aliens aren't even supposed to be here anyway. It's infuriating that illegals get more rights and benefits than citizens. Pulling that in a large portion of the world will get you an SRO slot at "the wall" or a long stay as a guest of the penal system.
